the laundry asylums.  (Unwed mother's did laundry for the Priest's .  Closed in 1996.)

The Methodist in 1963, thought if a women was pregnant  out of wedlock / she should  go

to a home for unwed mother's then give her child up for adoption! 


Sex Education was often not in family,school, or  Church.
