Postpartum Psychosis/Nervous Breakdown

According to the British Journal of Medicine:  Severe depression after Childbirth is the

result to stopping nursing the baby too soon.  Nursing helps to bring the female hormones

back to normal after creating a baby then birthing the baby.  Pregnant Mother's nurse your

babies.

After Kelly was born, I had to go back to work, teaching. I had to quite nursing.

I had a "Nervous breakdown. " I asked the Dr. "How do I get better?"  He said,

"Take your pills and come and see me."  I was given electric shock  against my will.

My Mother was not allowed to see me.  "I had brought shame to the family." -(unmarried)

After Tim was born, I nursed the baby, but had to quite due to a yeast infection of the

breast.  I had another Nervous breakdown.  Hospitalization, pills, Electric shock.

Mother was not allowed to visit.  (I was married.)

I had my tubes tied.

The Dr's did not know that the Postpartum Psychosis was due to stopping nursing too soon.

Our daughter Kelly Jeanne Stubbs Blanck Tucker will soon be celebrating her 56th birthday.

I hope you can meet her so she can see where she got her beautiful deep/set eyes.

Everyone, You, your parents, the Methodist Church, the Community  shamed me and wanted

me to go to a house for "unwed" Mothers, and give our baby up for adoption.  The head nurse,

Miss Langley -  said that my parents should raise Kelly as their's.  My Uncle Roy and Aunt Sharon,

said that they should adopt Kelly.  They later adopted twins,  one baby died a tragic crib death,

 one son,  after years of abuse by his Mother, is in jail.

I talked with a Government woman in Lansing, that thought I should give my baby up for adoption,

and she would handle everything. She said, I would be considered a  "fallen woman" and the baby

would  be a "bastard" child.  I took a bus back to MSU.  I did not cry. But I knew that I would not

give up my baby.  Because I was single.  I knew married people that would abuse their children.

Because you are single doesn't make you a bad parent.

St.Clair Schools would not hire me as a teacher, because I had a child out of wed-lock.

Algonac Schools hired me to teach 4th grade.  Mr. King-- Superintendent, ask me, "Where did

you go to college"   I answered,  "MSU".  "How did you do?"  Mr. King asked.  *Good."

Then Mr. King asked "How would you like to teach 4th grade?"  I said, "Fine."

He didn't ask if I had a baby.  Later ,  at the end of my 2nd year of teaching, I was let go.

I then taught at St.Catherine's. --5th and 6th grade half days.   I always loved  my students.

Kelly married Ray Tucker.  They had 5 children.  They know have 7 Grandchildren.

Which makes us Great Grandparents.  Kelly was an honor student and very artistic.

No sex education in the home, school, or Church.  Maybe   the www will change this.

Unprotected sex may create a baby.  Then -  there wasn't the ability to prove who the father was.

Now proof of who the father is can be made through a blood test.  I hope you can meet our

daughter - Kelly.

$7,000.00  to get started 9 months ago.  During this time the neighbors have raised their
