In approximately 1949, I would not spray the barns with DDT, ( I was 8 years old)
I figured whatever killed the bugs wouldn't be good for you. My German Mother said,
"Then you will do house work." I said, " O.K." to House work, but I did not spray the Barns.
My sister, Nancy Bell Stubbs Barr died of Cancer at Age 58; My Father, John E. Stubbs,
died at age 61 of Cancer. They sprayed the barns with DDT. I am still alive.
My Father and Sister had very large funerals. They were very good people. They are missed by many.
I am just a casual observer.
