When Grandpa and Grandma Bell were newly married... (apx. 1914)

They lived in a duplex on St.Clair Street in Marine City, behind Thomas' Boocher Shop.

It was rumored that there was thief in the neighborhood.   True story,..... One night...

Grandma woke up in great fright when Grandpa, in his sleep,  grabbed Grandma by the

throat, and, shaking her said,  "Now I've got you, you dirty  Son of a B-----!

Grandpa must have convinced /Grandma that he had been dreaming because they stayed

married to the end.
