Cousin Tom,
You nagged your Mother into quitting her 3-4 Pack a day smoking addiction,
after seeing a movie at St. Clair School on the evils of smoking.
You asked her, "Don't you care that we care about you?"
Your Mother said, "I just want to live until I see you get married."
And you replied, "You won't even live long enough to see me graduate."
Tom's Mother, Janet Denomy, Quite smoking cold turkey.
Aunt Janet Denomy is now 96, still has an excellent mind.
The only reason that she is now in a Nursing Home is because she fell and
broke her leg at age 91, while hauling a big trash can to the curb. (She lived alone,
and rode her 3-wheeler to Neiman's. Blind in one eye and could hardly see out of the other.)
P.S. If you are still smoking it's because you want bad health and a shorter life.
And you know that secondary smoke also causes bad health and a shorter life.
And you don't care.
Should children have laws regarding parents that smoke, (Child Abuse?)
