"I NEED A HANDFUL."

I was visiting a friend in a nursing home in Sterling Heights.  The old women in a wheel chair,

 pleaded with the people passing by her open bedroom door,   reaching her hand out,  "I need  a

handful."  A concerned woman nearby in a wheelchair, asked if I could get her help, I said , "Yes."

A young man, with a name tag  saying he worked there, was going that way, I asked if he

could help the woman in "209", she says, she needs a handful.  He asked a "handful of what?"

I said , "She didn't say".  He smiled.  He said he would check  in on her.


The mentally ill need kindness.

The mentally ill need Professional help.

The mentally ill need to be removed from all positions of responsibilities.

The Doctors, Lawyers, and Congress need to act quickly in a kind, and responsible way.
