TREASON:

"Betrayal or breach of allegiance or of obedience towards one's sovereign or government;

especially in the Constitution of the United  States (Article III, Section 3),  "Treason against

the United States consist only of levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving

them aid and comfort."
