"The Emperor's New Clothes"

Han Christian Anderson  (1805-1875)

"But the Emperor has nothing on at all."  said a little child.

In the 2014 version of this old fairy tale the child is a young woman named Dawn,

and  tells the obvious to a popular day time television audience.

 "no one would have  allowed that he could not see these much admired clothes;

because, in doing so, he would have declared himself either a simpleton or

unfit for his office."
