Sandy's Victims Rescued:
1/8/13
If I was the decider for how to help the victims of the Sandy Hurricane I would:
Provide Water, Food, and transportation to high ground.
Relocate the victims to new homes and jobs and extended family using the internet.
I would offer to buy their property--Immediately. Based on what is left. And help
the victims obtain their insurance money for their losses.
The Mississippi Delta flooded year after year. The Government came in year after year to
rebuild.
Finally the Government offered the victims money to move to higher ground.
We need to learn from the unpredictable weather. We need to move to higher ground.
"Charles Wesley, 1701-1788 Adapted from the Genevan Psalter, 1551
OLD 134th (St. Michael) S. M.
l. O come, and dwell in me, Spirit of power within!
And bring the glorious liberty From sorrow, fear, and sin.
2. Hasten the joyful day Which shall my sins consume;
When old things shall be done away, And all things new become.
3. I want the witness, Lord, That all I do is right,
According to Thy will and Word, Well pleasing in Thy sight.
4. I ask no higher state; Indulge me but in this,
And sooner or later then translate To my eternal bliss." page 377
